Mark Vander Heide (b. 1990) holds his BA in Sociology (2013, Calvin College) and his MFA in Ceramics (2022, Cranbrook Academy of Art). He currently resides in Detroit, working as the Cranbrook Ceramics Studio Manager and teaching at various other institutions in the metro area. When not in the studio, Mark enjoys baking, boardgames, foraging, and hanging out with animals.
