Elliot Avis is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Philadelphia, but now works in the greater Detroit area as he works towards his MFA at the Cranbrook Academy of Art. He Has participated in group shows in London, NYC, Detroit, Boston, and Columbus. Elliot makes Paintings, Drawings, Sculptures, installations, and performance but views all of his work through the expansive contemporary field of painting.
