    This set of two brass french curves are rolled and hammered from the same proginal template. They were shown in the Cranbrook House show exhibit “Brought to the Table” in Saarinen House March 2022.

    Kiwi Phong Nguyen (he/they) born 1992 in San Diego, California, is a queer first generation Vietnamese American artist. After graduating from the Cooper Union with a Bachelor of Architecture in 2015 he pursued his passion for sculpture, object making, and jewelry, shifting his path towards craft by working as a fabricator at various studios and manufacturing companies in New York. He built his studio practice constructing jewelry as a notation of intimate relationships, whether between lovers, friends, strangers, or community. He is currently an MFA candidate in the Metalsmithing department at Cranbrook Academy of Art. He will graduate in 2023.
